Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 30, 2026

OnomaAI Inc. applies the following refund policy to insertoon paid products. This policy is interpreted together with the Terms of Service, Pricing Policy, and applicable law.

1. General Principles

  1. Refunds are processed only at the payer's request or when there is a valid legal reason.
  2. If a justified case such as payment error, duplicate charge, unauthorized payment, or a major service failure attributable to the Company is confirmed, the Company may issue a full or partial refund.
  3. To review a refund request, the Company may inspect payment history, usage history, account details, access records, and error logs.
  4. Event benefits, promotional grants, and free credits may be excluded from refund calculations.

2. Refunds for One-time Coin Products

  • One-time purchased coins remain valid for one year from each payment date and expire automatically afterward. Expired coins are not eligible for refund.

1) Cases eligible for a full refund

As a rule, the following cases may qualify for a full refund:

  1. Payment was completed but the coins were not reflected properly
  2. Duplicate payment occurred for the same order or the same payment method
  3. Immediately after payment, none of the paid coins granted by that order were used and no legal restriction on refund applies

2) Cases eligible for a partial refund

If some one-time coins were already used, the Company may issue a partial refund based on the value of the remaining unused paid coins after excluding the portion already consumed.

Example formula:

Refundable amount = actual paid amount x (unused paid coins / total paid coins granted by the purchase)

Free coins and promotional grants are not included in the refundable amount even if they remain unused.

3) Refund restrictions

Refunds may be limited in the following cases:

  1. The paid coins were already used to generate digital content or consume paid service features
  2. The account was suspended or restricted due to the user's fault
  3. A legal restriction on withdrawal or refund applies

3. Refunds for Recurring Subscription Products

1) Subscription cancellation

  1. As a rule, cancellation of a paid subscription is processed by stopping the next scheduled charge.
  2. Even after cancellation, access for the current billing cycle that has already been paid may remain active until that cycle ends.
  3. Subscription coins are valid only within the relevant billing cycle, and unused amounts do not carry over to the next cycle and expire at the end of the cycle.
  4. The FREE plan is not a separate refundable product.
  5. Accordingly, subscription products do not generate a separate prepaid balance subject to refund.

2) Refunds for paid subscriptions

  1. The Company may review a full or partial refund in the following cases:
  2. Duplicate or mistaken payment is confirmed
  3. Payment was completed but the service was not materially available during the relevant billing cycle due to a reason attributable to the Company
  4. Withdrawal or refund is permitted by law
  5. Subscription coins are internal usage units granted as part of subscription benefits and do not constitute a separate prepaid balance, deposit, or direct refund basis.
  6. When a subscription is canceled, refund eligibility and scope are determined based on applicable laws, payment provider terms, whether service use began, the delivered service scope, payment errors, and company fault, rather than only the remaining subscription coin quantity.
  7. When a refund is permitted by law or approved by the Company, cancellation to the original payment method is generally processed first.

3) Plan changes

  1. If a user changes to a higher plan and an immediate difference payment is charged, refund eligibility is determined in light of granted access rights and usage history.
  2. If a lower-tier plan change is scheduled to take effect from the next billing cycle, the scheduled change itself is treated as a plan change rather than a refund.
  3. For the STUDIO plan, settlement terms in a separate contract, proposal, or order form take precedence.

4. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests may be submitted through the following channels:

  • Email: contact@onomaai.com
  • Phone: 070-4130-0221

When reviewing a refund request, the Company may ask for:

  1. Account identification information
  2. Order number or payment timestamp
  3. Reason for refund
  4. If necessary, refund account details or additional supporting materials

5. Refund Processing Period

  1. After confirming the refund reason, the Company will inform the user of the result within a reasonable period.
  2. If a refund is approved, the Company will generally prioritize canceling the original payment method.
  3. If immediate cancellation is difficult due to the payment method, the Company may guide the user through a separate refund process.
  4. The actual reflection timing may vary depending on card companies, PG providers, payment providers, or financial institutions.
